DONES yesterday took over The Chase bookmakers, an aggressive South East
independent with six shops, plus two new licences in Southend and Slough.
It brings the company total up to 335 shops, but what is unusual is that Wayne Marler and Angelo Sanzone, the two directors behind The Chase, have entered an exclusive three-year licensing consultancy deal to develop Dones within the M25.
