Nov. 27--Time Warner Cable customers will see their bills increase an average of $2 next year, with the price of the most popular level of service rising to $41.99 a month.
The changes take effect Jan. 1 across the company's Central Florida service area of 710,000 customers. Brian Craven, a Time Warner spokesman, blamed the average 5 percent increase on higher fees the cable company pays for ESPN, Home Box Office and other services.
"The biggest factor this year, as it was last year, is increases in programming," Craven said.
