Nov. 24-- NARRAGANSETT BAY, R.I.--People between age 20 and 34 are leaving, economic inequality is growing and housing prices are rising at an unsustainable rate.
But despite these economic threats, Rhode Island enjoys one key advantage as it competes for jobs and businesses: the quality of place.
That was the message yesterday as state and local officials, community leaders, business people, academics and others gathered to help chart a new economic course for Rhode Island.
