SPORTING brothers Geoff and Philip Lloyd - with more than half a century of service to cricket in Denbighshire between them - have been honoured by being elected Life VicePresidents of the county club.
Geoff, a prominent figure with the successful Brymbo club, has just completed 25 years unbroken service on the Denbighshire county committee while Philip is into his 33rd year having started as a young county scorer in 1970!
Since then Philip has cap-tained Denbighshire Colts as an oustanding wicketkeeper-batsman during the 1971-76 period before commanding a place in the senior county side as early as 1973.
