HAUPPAUGE, N.Y. -- Long Island business owners are still confident in the local economy. Less businesses were impacted by the events of September 11 than was originally expected according to the results of the Ninth Annual Long Island Economic Survey and Opinion Poll(C). The Survey was taken from a cross-section of approximately 6000 Long Island business owners, is conducted by Albrecht, Viggiano, Zureck & Company, P.C. (AVZ) and the School of Business at Dowling College.
