IBM ROCHESTER WINS TOP U.S. QUALITY AWARD
ARMONK, N.Y., Oct. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- IBM Rochester, Minn., was awarded the federal government's highest quality honor today, capturing the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.
The large Minnesota facility, home of the AS/400 family of computers and advanced direct access storage products, won for the combined excellence of all of its operations.
IBM Chairman John F. Akers congratulated the employees at Rochester whose daily work helped earn the Baldrige distinction.
