Nov. 22--In the fantasy film world, the biggest battle of the sequels is about to commence and, despite not opening for another three weeks, Lord of the Rings is poised to beat Harry Potter by a short head.
Cantor Index, the City spread betting firm, says its punters are backing Lord of the Rings to take between $18 million (UKpound 11.5 million) and $30 million more than Harry Potter in its first four weeks at the US box office.
