Nov. 22--BROWNSVILLE, Texas -- Angel Rojas believes a law school in the Rio Grande Valley is a good idea, especially a first-rate school that would give area students the opportunity to stay close to home.
But, with the area lacking a law school and Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board recently rejecting the idea, Rojas and other Valley students seeking an institution to study will have to go at least as far as San Antonio or Houston where the nearest law schools exist.
