Nov. 21--FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- "Can you hear me? Can you hear me now?" Dr. William Berghoff asked, standing in the operating room in his blue scrubs, scalpel in hand.
Berghoff wasn't talking to his patient nor was he making a TV commercial. The orthopedic surgeon was about to begin a total knee replacement procedure, as Snider High School's advanced placement anatomy class watched every move, heard each sound. The surgery was the official unveiling of the Orthopaedic Hospital at Parkview North's telemedicine program, the only program of its kind available in Indiana.
