NATIONAL BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH

WASHINGTON, Oct. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- A decisive step in the fight against breast cancer was taken today as President Bush signed a congressional resolution proclaiming October 1990 National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The resolution was sponsored by U.S. Sen. Clairborne Pell (D-R.I.) and U.S. Rep. Cardiss Collins (D-Ill.) in the Senate and House of Representatives, respectively.
