Nov. 18--KEY WEST, Fla.--They are selling for the same price as homes on the mainland that have foliage and enough yard for a swing set, a big backyard grill and a vegetable garden.
In an island city where the average cost of a three-bedroom, no-view home runs $507,686, shelling out $195,000 for a boat slip nestled between a trash dump and the Monroe County Jail may strike some as a bargain.
