I have done my fair share of wine tasting and vineyard touring in this planet of the grapes -- all over Europe, Napa, Sonoma, Washington, New York, even Ohio and Wisconsin, and most recently Oregon -- but I still enjoy making the rounds of the growers and grape crushers in the state that was the first in the New World to honor Bacchus and produce wine from native grapes -- Florida.
