Dec. 7--VICTORVILLE, Calif.--Deputies arrested a couple for allegedly bilking would-be renters out of thousands of dollars by offering to rent out homes they didn't even own, a sheriff's sergeant said.
Investigators arrested Sandy Ann Figueroa, 34, and Michael Mario Vega, 40, both of Victorville on suspicion of grand theft and theft by fraud Thursday after serving a search warrant at their home, San Bernardino County Sheriff's Sgt. Rick Roelle said.
Both were released after posting $25,000 bond each, according to sheriff's booking data.
