Article: Swift Picks Vendors for New IP Network.

Nearly a year after Global Crossing's bankruptcy threatened to derail the development of Swift's new IP-based network, the banking and securities industry utility announced this week that it had chosen three vendors-London-based Colt Telecom Group, Paris-based Equant and El Segundo, Calif.-based Infonet Services Corp.-to provide Internet protocol-virtual private network (IP/VPN) services.
