Nov. 15--Lake County is building an attractive resume as a location to shoot movies, commercials and television series.
Approximately $12.8 million was spent last year in the county to make films, television shows, commercials and digital media, according to the Metro Orlando Film & Entertainment Commission. As of this month, more than $15 million has already been pumped into productions in the county.
