Nov. 13--It's two more rounds in a continuing battle.
After a highly visible, nearly three-year-old dispute, the Manheim Auto Auction and the residents who oppose the auction's expansion are filing new appeals of 5 recent decisions that went against them.
At issue are plans by the auction, which is along Route 72 in Penn Township, south of Manheim, to expand west of its current facility.
The move is aimed both at consolidating operations and at allowing the auction to remain competitive, its officials have said.
