NEW YORK -- As part of ongoing efforts to improve the quality of care and minimize health-related disparities, the Aetna Foundation has awarded $30,000 to St. Luke's Hospital for a program to assist patients with sickle cell disease.
The grant will fund support services for children and families affected by sickle cell disease, focusing on improved pain and symptom management.
