What happens when two mayors, three supervisors and more than 40 other people interested in the welfare of Madison County band together to pay a visit to Mississippi's congressional delegates in Washington?
The wheels of politics turn slowly, but the group hopes they made an impact on delegates, who they say were impressed by the size of the party. Madison County representatives have made individual trips to Washington, but this was the first time that such a large, diverse group was organized.
