Nov. 3--Cynthia Dopjera has joined Harper & Pearson Co. as director of the accounting firm's financial institution practice. Dopjera was most recently an executive with Bank of America's treasury management group for South Texas and has more than 20 years of experience in banking. She is a veteran of local institutions, having held the positions of president and CEO at Houston Independent Bank.
