ONE of the greatest changes that has occurred in game angling in the last two decades or so is the status of the grayling.
Once upon a time the grayling was considered to be a pest to be destroyed. Very often thousands would be removed by any means because they were thought to harm the all-important trout fishing. How times have changed!
Today the grayling is revered by many anglers and many, the writer included, consider a day spent fishing the grayling as a pinnacle of the angling calendar.
