A Seattle woman missing for 10 days was found bound but alive yesterday in the back of her abandoned vehicle - left idling before dawn on Interstate 5 north of downtown.
Bronte Christine Clifford, 34, disappeared after leaving a Thanksgiving dinner in Bellevue. Her roommate, Jim Barker, 31, reported her missing last Monday after realizing she hadn't been home at all during the holiday weekend.
"It's really a relief," said a stunned-looking Barker at Harborview Medical Center, after a friend who works there called to tell him she had been admitted. "Thank God she's found."
