Nov. 11--Thai Mobile's scheduled soft commercial launch will proceed this week although it has yet to conclude roaming rates with Advanced Info Service (AIS) for shared networks.
Thai Mobile is a joint venture of TOT Corporation (56 percent), the recently partially privatised state agency, and the Communications Authority of Thailand (44 percent) to operate the 1900 MHz mobile phone service.
TOT executive chairman Supachai Pisitvanich said Thai Mobile hoped to finalise the roaming rates soon.
