Nov. 10--As soon as American Eagle flight attendant Elsa Christian walked into the crew room at Miami International Airport on Wednesday, she sensed a somber mood. The lights appeared dimmed. A supervisor was dressed in black.
"What's going on here -- a funeral?" she asked. Then it hit her: "We've been sold, haven't we?" AMR Corp.'s agreement to sell Executive Airlines -- the operator of American Eagle's hubs in Miami and San Juan, Puerto Rico -- to Executive's founder has left many Miami employees feeling angry and betrayed.
