Nov. 25--Some people give to the Pueblo Community Soup Kitchen because they once needed a meal there.
Some are relatives of people who needed a meal and are grateful that the kitchen was there.
And maybe a few lend a hand or donate something simply because they want the kitchen still to be there later, like insurance.
Regardless of the reasons, the kitchen has stayed open to Pueblo's less fortunate for more than 20 years now, surviving a change in location and economic times that only added to the clientele.
