An Exceptional Event
The carnival in Venice is a hymn to beauty, joy and friendship. It takes place in February, during Lenten festivities.
Venice then becomes a wonderful scene in which enthusiastic amateurs can be admired in their own self-made dream costumes. These are usually renewed every year. Most of these enthusiasts (including the photographers) come from around the world, although the majority of the models come from Europe--France, Germany, Austria, and Italy--and some are even from the United States.
