Prague. December 10. INTERFAX EUROPE - Government, employer and trade union representative comprising the tripartite failed to agree on compensation for energy sector workers who will lose their jobs as a result of Czech power sector restructuring, Jarmila Skvrnova, a top advisor to Prime Minister Vladimir Spidla, told journalists following Tuesday' tripartite session.
Trade union representatives are demanding that energy sector workers who lose their job receive the same benefits as workers in a similar situation in the steel, railway and mining industries. ...
