Franklin Templeton Investments, whose Templeton Asset Management unit manages Templeton Dragon Fund (the Fund), today responded to a proposal submitted by the President and Fellows of Harvard College for the Fund's 2003 annual meeting of shareholders, calling for the termination of the investment management agreement between the Fund and the manager.
