Dec. 11--Caleb Solomon, assistant managing editor of The Wall Street Journal Europe, will become an assistant managing editor of The Boston Globe with responsibility for the paper's Business section and its Real Estate, Automotive, and BostonWorks sections, Globe editor Martin Baron announced yesterday.
Solomon, 43, will join the Globe in early February, returning to the city where he spent almost four years as editor of The Wall Street Journal/New England, a weekly section devoted to breaking regional news. The Globe's previous Business editor, Peter J. Mancusi, stepped down ...
