TORONTO, Oct. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Canadian Auto Workers (CAW) President Bob White said today that the offer tabled by Chrysler Canada this morning indicates the company will meet the pattern agreement set by Ford and General Motors.

"Some of the numbers are missing, but it appears we will not have to fight about the basic economics of the company offer," said White.

"It's a great relief and should give us the momentum to get an agreement for deadline on Thursday, midnight without a strike."
