Q: I've heard that milk thistle is good for people with liver disease. I've also read that this same herb can help some pets with liver problems.
I have a 2-year-old female Doberman. Right now she is acting fine, but, as you know, this breed is prone to liver disease. Should I give her milk thistle to prevent problems?
