BOBBY SHORT TO OPEN FOR LAUREL PARK PLACE GRAND OPENING

LIVONIA, Mich., Oct. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Wednesday, Oct. 24, will mark the beginning of the grand opening celebration for Laurel Park Place. The opening act for the festivities will be Bobby Short, the renowned entertainer best known for his longstanding affiliation with the Carlyle Hotel in New York City.

The "Masterpiece Evening," to be staged from 7-10 p.m., will benefit the Auxiliaries of the Founders Society Detroit Institute of Arts. In addition to the special performances by the Bobby Short Trio, the evening will include a buffet supper, a fabulous fashion show and an opportunity to tour ...
