The EU-Russia Parliamentary Cooperation Committee held its fifth meeting in Brussels on 25-26 November. In the course of the meeting the following issues were addressed:
* EU-Russia Co-operation in security and in the fight against terrorism and with that the situation in Chechnya
* the political situation in the Middle East
* current political and economical developments in the Russian Federation and in the EU,
* the results of the EU-Russia Summit on November 11, 2002, in Brussels
* the Common European Economic Space and the report of the High-Level Group
