Dec. 11--Veteran editor Gary R. Clark has been named The Denver Post's managing editor for news, continuing a transition of the newsroom's top management during the past six months.
Clark, 56, served as managing editor for The Plain Dealer in Cleveland for 10 years and is city editor for The Columbus Dispatch, an Ohio newspaper that he joined in 2000.
Clark joins The Post in January.
