SILVERTON, Ore. -- Oregon is awash in gardens to visit, so when you're planning next year's excursions south, be sure to schedule some time for garden touring.
The Oregon Garden in Silverton is an ambitious project that combines display gardens, educational opportunities and existing landscape. Today, the planted garden covers almost 70 acres, with the hope of expanding eventually to 240 acres.
