PORTLAND, Ore. -- The Oregon Bioscience Association (OBA) today announced the results of its Oregon Bioscience Industry Study 2002, a report that defines the characteristics and economic impact of the state's multifaceted bioscience industry. Study results show strong growth among bioscience companies, both in employment base and revenue generation, compared with a benchmark survey OBA conducted in 1999.
The Oregon Bioscience Industry Study 2002 was conducted on behalf of OBA by Alta Biomedical Group LLC and funded by grants from the Oregon Economic & Community Development Department and the Portland Development Commission.
