Uncle Earl began as K.C. Groves and Jo Serrapere (sarah-pear). These women brought accomplished solo careers to this formation of a top-notch old-time, Appalachian duo. Jo is solidly grounded in swing, jazz, country, and bluegrass, and has been recognized in songwriting and vocal competitions. K.C. Groves, with her West Virginia roots, had released Can You Hear It, produced by the late Charles Sawtelle, and sporting an all star bluegrass back up.
Tahmineh Gueramy was added as a third voice for the CD. She's a booking agent and was entering a career in entertainment law when she was asked to join the group permanently. As if these ...
