She's a mermaid at heart, a rapper, a poet, an outgoing saleswoman and an artist.
Her vivid abstracts pop with color, glitter and, sometimes, a splattering of plastic bread bag fasteners.
Lupita Cano, 33 ((age)), is as bold and upbeat as her paintings. On a late summer day, she's wearing a tiara set with red and blue stones. A giant red hibiscus flower is perched atop her head. There's a lei of red silk blossoms around her neck, 10-plus bangle bracelets at her wrists, a couple of oversize rings on her fingers.
