Emergent Technologies Inc. (ETI), has announced that its portfolio company, Pure Protein L.L.C., has commercialized an accurate and sensitive assay for peptides binding to HLA molecules based on soluble HLA proteins and fluorescent peptide standards.
This assay, called PolyTest, allows vaccine designers to quickly assess how well a target is displayed to the immune system and to determine for which segment of the population the vaccine will be protective.
