The second phase of the 1.0 million t/a potash fertilizer project in Qinghai, a demonstrative project of the west development, is in smooth progress. An investment of RMB1.13 billion is used and more than 60% of the total workload is completed. According to An Pingsui, Chairman and General Manager of Qinghai Salt Lake Group, the project will proceed as planned. Judging from the progress today, the project can be completed ahead of schedule. Equipment installation will be completed and trial production will be conducted in August next year.
