Dec. 14--An extraordinary gift of land appraised just days ago at $8 million was made this week to Santa Barbara County by businessmen Gregory Daniels and William P. Healey.
Talk about an early Christmas present.
Their charitable donation of 3.5 acres of undeveloped land is right across the street from the county government center at Betteravia Road and Miller Street in Santa Maria, County Administrator Michael Brown said.
