FURTHER tragedy has struck the family of a couple being hunted in Spain, with the death of the missing man's grief-stricken mother.
Josephine O'Malley died without knowing whether her son Anthony, from Llangollen, was alive or dead.
He vanished three months ago with his wife Linda, following a holiday home hunting trip to Spain in September.
Mrs O'Malley, 75, had been battling illness but died in hospital on December 2.
Speaking to the Daily Post yesterday from Widnes, Anthony's brother, Bernard, said the family was trying to put a brave face on the tragedy for Christmas.
