CONWAY, AN EXPANDING CITY since the I 960s and one of the fastest-growing in the state in the 1990s, continues to attract residents. And with those residents come millions of dollars of commercial and residential development.
According to Conway planning commissioner Bill Polk, Conway has seen a spike in subdivision development this year, partially due to a slow year in 2001.
"And we're probably going t end up, by the end of the year, filling somewhere between 750 and 1,000 new residential lots," Polk said.
