Army Throws Support to Chavez in Venezuelan Conflict
After 15 days of studied silence on the subject, the Venezuelan armed forces came out in support of President Hugo Chavez and his attempts to get the oil industry restarted and against the two-week general strike that has brought the industry to a virtual standstill.
The televised statement by Army Chief of Staff Gen.
