ANOTHER hotel could soon disappear from one of Wales's best loved holiday destinations.
Despite concerns about the lack of quality hotel space on Gower, planning officers from City and County of Swansea Council are recommending that plans to turn the former Osborne Hotel in Langland Bay into luxury flats be approved. The empty Osborne dominates Rotherslade beach on the eastern edge of the sweeping bay, a favourite spot of Swansea-born Hollywood star Catherine Zeta Jones.
