Mankato, Minn. -- Jerry Mosca was more than a little taken aback when he wandered into the Wagon Wheel Cafe for his midmorning cup of coffee Monday.
The tiny restaurant was jammed with townspeople, news crews - and Minnesota's new senator-elect. "Well, whaddya know - Norm Coleman," he exclaimed to no one in particular. "This is really interesting. Was it impromptu?"
Not exactly. Coleman was on his second stop in a 10-hour, 755-mile victory lap around Minnesota in which he thanked a few hundred supporters for sending him to the U.S. Senate.
