College Football: Ball State brings back one of its own as head coach.

Muncie, IN (Sports Network) - Ball State announced on Wednesday that four-year letter winner at the school, Brady Hoke, is the new head football coach.

"I am honored and very excited to have been offered the opportunity to coach at Ball State," Hoke says. "It is great to return to the school that enabled me to get an education and play football. I am looking forward to representing a great university with integrity and pride."

Hoke was a captain of the 1980 Ball State team when he led the Cardinals and ranked sixth in the MAC with 150 tackles. He managed seven tackles for loss, including two sacks, en route to earning ...
