Wisconsin Cheese Group of Monroe has been sold to a Pittsburgh-area private equity firm that plans to increase the business and eventually sell it to a larger food corporation.
Main Street Capital Holdings, of Canonsburg, Pa., is not disclosing terms of its purchase of Wisconsin Cheese Group, which specializes in dairy products for Hispanic markets, said Gerry Prado, a partner in Main Street.
All 110 employees will be retained, Prado said.
