ATLANTIC COUNCIL RELEASES POLICY RECOMMENDATIONS
FOR THE UNITED STATES AND UNITED GERMANY
WASHINGTON, Nov. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- A high-level bipartisan task force of The Atlantic Council released its report on Oct. 31 on future directions for U.S.-German relations.
According to the report, "German unification has ushered in a new era of United States-German relations -- a period of transition in which Germany ... should receive equal status as an economic and diplomatic partner."
The policy report frames the new U.S.-German relationship in terms of "partnership." Among the policy recommendations to both governments are: ...
