Dec. 20--Once among the nation's fastest-growing airports, Myrtle Beach International now is at the top of the list of airports that have suffered the most from flight reductions in the wake of Sept. 11, 2001.
A new report shows Myrtle Beach International Airport has had a nearly 36 percent decrease in direct flights since October 2001. That is the largest reduction in flights among all small and medium hub airports in the United States.
