Polish GDP climbs 1.6% y-o-y in Q3 '02, foreign demand plays key role in still sluggish recovery

Polish GDP growth quickened to 1.6% in the third quarter of 2002 compared with 0.8% in the second quarter and 0.8% in the same quarter of 2001 in a sign of continuing albeit sluggish recovery, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) said on Friday.
